San Antonio Considered One of the Friendliest Cities

The Alamo City is a pretty friendly place, according to Conde Nast Traveler, in which tourists rated San Antonio No. 3 on the list of Friendliest Cities in the United States in their latest Reader’s Choice Survey.

The other Texas city on the “Friendly” list was Fort Worth, which came in at No. 6.

The survey asked participants about hotels, cruises, beaches, and cities around the world, and, for the second year, they also asked people to let them know if they felt welcome in their destinations.

Most of the cities on the friendly list are in the South, which points out that Southern hospitality still rules. On the other hand, tourists say that Northeast cities have a tendency to be unfriendly.

Among the ones deemed least friendly: two cities from each California, New Jersey, and Connecticut, rated among the 10 worse cities in regard to welcoming tourists.
