San Antonio gaining 1,100 cybersecurity jobs.

Of those 1,100 jobs, 438 will be based at the Lackland Medina Annex, which will consist of one group and three squadrons. Another 600-plus personnel will be based throughout San Antonio to support various cybersecurity missions. In addition, 64 leadership positions will be created as a result of this action.

Institutional investor activity up 25 percent in S.A., RealtyTrac reports

Between the first quarter of 2013 and the first quarter of 2014, investor activity in the Alamo City was up 25 percent.The Alamo City’s housing market is seeing a lot more investor interest, according to the latest analysis by Irvine, Calif.-based RealtyTrac.
